Adventure Tours & Trek-I |
Days 1 Kathmandu - Nylam - Early morning drive to Nepal -
China border (Kodari) 5-6 hrs. necessary borders formalities both
side immigration check into hotel. |
Days 2 Nylam - old Tingri: Drive uphill to the highest
plateau of the world with the typical view of the Tibetan landscape
offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world crossing
over Nyalam Pass (3800m.) & Lalung La Pass (5050m) weather
permitting breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges
including Mt. Everest etc. |
Days 3 Old Tingri-Xigtse (3900m.) (235km) - Continue scenic
drive crossing over Gyatchu La (5220m.) the highest pass enroute to
Lhasa by Lhatse from where a route to Mt. Kailash bifurcates to the
west. Overnight at hotel. |
Days 4 Xigatse - Gyantse (3950m) (90km)- Morning sightseeing
to the Panchen Lama's Throne Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse
and visit to the Khumbum Stupa & Palkhor Monastery. Overnight at
guest house. |
Days 5 Gyantse-Lhasa (3650m)(261km) - Full day picturesque
drive crossing over Karo La (5010m), Khamba La (4794m), colorful
yamdruk Lake and Tibetan lifeline river Brahama Putra (Yarlung
Tsangpo). Overnight at guest house. |
Days 6-7 Sightseeing Tour in Lhasa (as above) |
Days 8 Lhasa to Tsedang enroute to visit Syame over night in
guest house. |
Days 9 Sightseeing tour of Tsedang overnight in guest house. |
Days 10 Early Morning Transfer to Airport Fly back to
Kathmandu. |
