Siklish Camp Trek

Our trail skirts under the graceful 'fish tail' peak Machapuchare, one of the glorious of Nepal along with the Annapurna. In the lower valleys we'll pass through Brahmin and Chettri villages. Higher up we'll meet Magars and Gurungs. Our destination is Siklis village, the largest Gurung community in the region. It is also home to many ex-Gurkha soldiers, famed the world over for their outstanding bravery. With no intervening ridges to obstruct, there are dramatic views of the Annapurna South (7273m.), Annapurna 2nd (7937m.), Hiunchuli (6336m.), Lamjung Himal (6986m.) and Machhapuchhre (6999m). The trek is combined with the two days Chitwan wildlife reserve, known for One Horned Rhino, Bengal Tiger, Sloth Beer, wild boar, barking deer and over 300 species of bird.
