Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) |

Annapurna means harvest provider in simple
Nepalese language. It is the tenth highest
mountain in the world and has an enormous
Himalayan massif. It was the first 8,000m
mountain to be successfully climbed. It was
climbed in the year 1950 by Maurice Herzog &
Louis Lachenal. The best season to climb this
mountain is pre- and post-monsoon. |
