Mt. Annapurna I (8091m)

Annapurna means harvest provider in simple Nepalese language. It is the tenth highest mountain in the world and has an enormous Himalayan massif. It was the first 8,000m mountain to be successfully climbed. It was climbed in the year 1950 by Maurice Herzog & Louis Lachenal. The best season to climb this mountain is pre- and post-monsoon.

Itinerary In Detail

Days 1 Arrive at TIA and transfer to the hotel.

Days 2-3 Preparation and Adminstrative formalities.

Days 4 Kathmandu - Pokhara - Jomosom.

Days 5 Jomosom - Lete.

Days 6 Lete - Khalti.

Days 7 Khalti - Nilgiri B.C.

Days 8 Nilgiri B.C. - Misti Khola (Odar).

Days 9-11 Odar - Annapurna B.C.(4800m)

Days 12-13  Installation and acclimatation at Base Camp (Puja by lamas : Buddhist worship).

Days 14-44 Climbing period.

Days 45 Base camp.

Days 46 B.C. - Odar

Days 47 Odar - Nilgiri B.C.

Days 48 Nilgiri B.C. - Khalti

Days 49 Khalti - Lete

Days 50 Fly Jomosom - Pokhara and to Kathmandu

Days 51 Reserve day.

Days 52 Reserve day.

Logistic Support

Cost Includes in this program:
Equipment allowance, daily allowance & insurance for base camp crews (Sirdar, cook, kitchen boy and liaison officer)
Foods and fuels at the base camp
All camping equipment at the base camp such as, member tent, dining tent, kitchen tent, chairs, tables.
Peak permit and Royalty fees
Trek support for climbing members from Lukla-base camp-Lukla.
Climbing equipment, tents and personal equipment above base camp
Flights for transfer climbing members, crews, liaison officer and cargo of the climbing gear.
Porters or Yaks to carry loads from Shyabrubenshi-Base Camp-Shyabribenshi

Cost excludes in this program:
High altitude food and fuel above base camp.
Personal accident insurance and emergency rescue evacuation operation
